Audience: Those practicing critical care transport and those preparing to take a critical care transport certification exam, including nurses, paramedics and transport personnel.
Cost: $275

This 28-hour-long, self-paced, online course is designed to fit your schedule. Once you sign up for the course, you’ll have 90 days to complete the content. At the completion of this course, students will have earned 28 continuing education hours.

  • Advanced Airway and Ventilation Management (2 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Respiratory Patient (4 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Cardiac Patient (6 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Medical Patient (3 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Trauma and Burn Patient (3 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Neuro Patient (1.5 hours)
  • Management of the Critical Care Toxicology Patient (1.5 hours)

Rick Erickson, NRP, FP-C
Critical Care Paramedic Coordinator

Rick Erickson has been involved in EMS for the last 15 years with the last 13 years as a paramedic. A graduate of Creighton’s paramedic program, he has spent his career in transport, 911 and flight services. For the past seven years, he has been a flight paramedic for a local flight program. His career in education began eight years ago and he has taught courses from EMT to Critical Care Paramedicine. Erickson is currently the critical care paramedic coordinator at Creighton University and presents frequently at regional and national conferences.
