Ryan Kirshenbaum, JD 

Ryan Kirshenbaum, JD is a corporate and healthcare attorney licensed in Nebraska and Iowa, with experience across areas including HIPAA, EMTALA, clinical research, Stark Law, the Anti‑Kickback Statute and data security. He also teaches bioethics and health law as an adjunct professor at Creighton University School of Law and received the Nebraska Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award in 2023.

Do I need to have a law degree to take this course? 

No. A law degree is not required, and neither is standardized testing such as the LSAT or GRE. This certificate is open to professionals from a variety of backgrounds who are looking to better understand the intersection of law and healthcare.
