In this course, we will provide an environment to further develop key clinical foundations in a collaborative setting with Creighton University School of Dentistry faculty oversight. We will focus on strategies for improved efficiency in order to strengthen your professional development.

Course Instructor
Joseph V. Sullivan, BA, DDS
Assistant Professor, Creighton University School of Dentistry
Dr. Joseph Sullivan is a prosthodontics educator with extensive clinical experience and a passion for digital dentistry. After earning his biology degree from Carroll College and his DDS from Creighton in 2011, he spent nearly a decade in private practice in Washington’s Tri-Cities. He returned to Creighton in 2021 and now teaches full time in the Department of Prosthodontics, helping learners integrate new technologies like 3D printing into everyday patient care.

What You'll Learn
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

- Refine stepwise process for crown preparations to allow for predictable outcomes.
- Develop further understanding of prognosis assignment and phase delegation for a more proficient treatment planning strategy.
- Establish a protocol for class II composite preparation and restoration to improve clinical success.
- Focus on identifying barriers to case acceptance while refining the delivery of treatment options.
- Understand the correlation between efficiency and joy in practicing dentistry

In the event of a weather-related closure, the course will be rescheduled.
