Description
This webinar addresses a critical gap in perinatal and neonatal care by helping healthcare providers integrate palliative care principles into everyday practice. Participants will explore practical strategies for navigating difficult conversations, supporting families facing serious illness or end-of-life decisions, and creating compassionate, family-centered care environments.
Through real-world approaches, learners will strengthen their communication skills, enhance interdisciplinary collaboration, and build confidence in applying palliative care principles in clinical settings. By the end of the session, participants will be better equipped to deliver high-quality, supportive care that improves experiences for infants and their families during vulnerable and emotionally complex situations.

What You'll Learn
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
-
- Explain the value of perinatal and neonatal palliative care and the distinct needs associated with each.
-
- Discuss barriers to providing perinatal and neonatal palliative care and strategies to overcome them.
-
- Identify cases in which perinatal or neonatal palliative care would be beneficial.
