Applications of Integrative Care Badge

Program Overview

Applications of Integrative Care, the second badge in Creighton’s Integrative Care Certificate, equips healthcare professionals and caregivers to apply integrative care concepts in clinical and community settings. Through eight one-hour, CE-accredited online courses, you’ll explore how lifestyle, behavioral and social factors influence health—and how to address them using whole-person, evidence-based approaches. 

The Integrative Care Certificate helps caregivers and healthcare professionals master holistic, patient-centered care, blending conventional medicine with lifestyle and social practices. Upon successful completion of this program, you'll earn the second badge toward the Integrative Care Certificate.

Who Should Enroll

This noncredit badge is ideal for caregivers, nurses, therapists, social workers, counselors, psychologists, primary care providers, case managers and wellness coaches who want to expand their skills in integrative care. 

What You’ll Learn

This badge is part of the Integrative Care Certificate. Completing both badges will grant you the full certificate.  

Continuing Education Credit

Category 1

Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAPA accepts AMA category 1 credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME. 

AAPA

Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education has been authorized by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 8.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurse CE

Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this activity for 8.0 contact hours for nurses.  Nurses should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Pharmacy

Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE). Applications of Integrative Care is accredited for 8.0 hour(s) for completion of all CE Sessions from May 1, 2025-April 20, 2026. Applications of Integrative Care is a knowledge-based activity.
