Course Overview

This course introduces you to Human-Centered Design (HCD)—an empathy-first, problem-solving approach that starts with people and ends with tested, real-world solutions. You’ll learn to tackle challenges like workflow gaps, care coordination issues and population health needs by designing solutions with purpose, creativity and compassion.

This 10-week course is tailored for busy professionals and includes three required live Zoom sessions for collaborative learning and instructor support.

Participants must come prepared with a defined workplace challenge, such as workflow inefficiencies, care delivery gaps, population health concerns or patient experience issues, which you’ll work on using the HCD process during the course.
