Course Overview
In today’s complex professional environments, good intentions are not enough. Cultural Humility introduces a lifelong approach to inclusive professional practice rooted in self‑reflection, openness and accountability.
This course explores how cultural humility differs from cultural competence and why it matters in today’s workplaces. Learners examine power, privilege and bias while building practical skills to engage respectfully across differences in leadership, teamwork, client relationships and care settings.
Grounded in Jesuit values of ethical leadership and lifelong formation, this course prepares professionals to navigate difference with curiosity, responsibility and respect.
This noncredit course is part of Creighton University’s Inclusion and Belonging Certificate or as an elective in our Leadership Certificate, and supports professionals committed to ethical leadership, purposeful work and inclusive environments.
