Marcía Brown, PhD. has taught leadership and related fields in higher education since 2005, with expertise spanning organizational, educational and sport leadership. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership and brings a reflective, human-centered teaching approach grounded in ethics, self-awareness and the lived experience of leadership.
As a military spouse, Dr. Brown’s doctoral research focused on active-duty service members pursuing higher education during deployment—work that deepened her respect for resilience, service and the pursuit of learning under pressure.
