Program Overview
Foundations in Integrative Care, the first badge in Creighton’s Integrative Care Certificate, provides healthcare professionals with principles to enhance patient outcomes, promote wellness and treat the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
Designed for busy professionals, this 100% online, self-paced program features expert-led, evidence-based content that seamlessly integrates conventional medicine with lifestyle and social health practices. Upon completion of this program, you'll earn the first badge toward the Integrative Care Certificate.

Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director, Integrative Health and Wellness, School of Medicine
Dr. Cosimano is an educator and practitioner in the Integrative Health Wellness MS program. She has taught at Creighton for over 20 years and spent many years teaching in the College of Nursing. Dr. Cosimano is committed to providing evidence-based content related to whole-person and personalized health. She is passionate about lifestyle medicine and healthy aging.
Thomas L. Lenz, PharmD
Professor and Program Director, Integrative Health and Wellness, School of Medicine
Dr. Lenz is a respected educator and practitioner in integrative health, combining academic rigor with real-world expertise. He is committed to equipping healthcare professionals with actionable strategies to improve patient outcomes and foster a comprehensive approach to wellness.
Mary Watson, MS, RDN
Professor of Practice, Integrative Health and Wellness, School of Medicine
Mary primarily works in a variety of education settings with students pursuing a healthcare-related degree. She hopes to inspire creative, patient-centered approaches for nutrition coaching and education within medical nutrition therapy and integrative care frameworks.

This noncredit badge is part of the Integrative Care Certificate. Completing both badges will grant you the full certificate.

How much does the program cost?
The badge fee is $400, which includes all eight one-hour modules.
Can I take just one badge?
Yes. You can complete individual courses, a badge or the full certificate. Completing both badges will grant you the full certificate. There are eight one-hour courses in each badge.
Do you offer tuition assistance?
We do not offer tuition assistance for lifelong learning courses or certificates. However, Creighton alumni, faculty, staff and eligible partner employees, along with their spouses and dependents, may qualify for a 15% discount. One discount per offering. Other restrictions may apply. Learn more.
